STOP! Can I please have a week, heck I'll take 24 hours without someone asking me for advice on how to best solve his/her problems? Please. I beg of you.

Perhaps today is an extreme case, but it seems that everywhere I turn (work email, personal email, voicemail, text message, phone calls) someone is asking me to fix or solve their problems. I need a hiatus.

Moonlight Hike at Palo Duro Canyon

This evening I made the trek to Palo Duro Canyon with friends to participate in the full moon hike. True, the full moon is not until Tuesday, but it was close enough for some awe inspiring sights in the canyon.

While in the canyon we saw a wolf spider (devouring a moth), several other types of spiders, a few bats, a white tail deer and a screech owl. Exciting, eh?

I finished reading the book late Saturday night. I am waiting for a few friends to catch up so we can chat about it. Oh, the revelations!

Last night, after our adventure at the art museum I returned to find a note tucked underneath my windshield wiper. A passerby had spotted my Loras window cling. It seems that he is a fellow Loras alum in Amarillo, TX. I'm sorry I was not near the car to say hello. Hello, Joe Sullivan class of '75! Go DuHawks!

Clay Play at Third Thursday

In need of de-stressing I headed to 3rd Thursday at AMOA with friends. The evening combines viewing of art, live music, Starbuck's coffee and an art activity. The art activity of the month was clay or more accurately, Model Magic.

After two years of coming home to this dining room:
(and yes, it did look like this for nearly 2 years)
I have finally graduated to a new level of adulthood and have purchased at table with chairs for my dining area. Gone are the days of dining on the couch. I know those folks who have done that are really, truly disappointed.
