If you enjoy a margarita on a hot summer day, you need to try it Santa Fe style. We were lucky enough to enjoy a few of these margaritas in Santa Fe - who would have thought that a jalapeno could enhance the flavor of a margarita in such a way. I'm a believer!

Pictures to Share?
We were so excited to share the days leading up to our wedding, and day of the wedding, with so many friends and family. We were thrilled to be able to spend quality time with our family and friends, to have the opportunity to talk, and not feel rushed.
If you were able to capture any photos from the wedding weekend that you would be willing to share with us, we would love to add these to our book. Please consider emailing us the files. Email Sue.
Many thanks!

If you hike downstream, the smell still blows upstream
While on our honeymoon we found ourselves hiking in a pair of streams.
Here Bryan cools off in the water after experiencing the Montezuma Hot Springs.
Certainly, a cold stream feels good on a nice hot day - at least that is what we thought. At Montezuma, we were wise (?) enough to hike in our flip-flops. Ok, in all honesty, probably not the safest choice, but in hindsight - it probably was the best choice. :)
Our hike to Nambe Falls was a bit warm, so we thought it would be a good idea to hike a portion of our trip in the cold stream. The choice certainly felt good.
And we certainly enjoyed a cool and enjoyable trek. But later we would have to pay the price for our indulgence.
On our drive from Taos to Amarillo we had to pull over to remove the offending sneakers from the vehicle. (Yes, it really did smell that bad!)
Bryan had the brilliant idea to attach the shoes to the top of our car - and there they stayed for the remainder of our trip.

Images from our Honeymoon: Part 1
So, my mom's comment after seeing our honeymoon pictures...
"For a minute there,I thought I was looking at your great-grandmother's pictures, what with all those church pictures..."
Ok, thanks mom. Yes, I did take a few pictures of church's on our honeymoon. The variety of architecture among the pictures was quite amazing. This was perhaps my favorite example of architecture. The lines to this church are so simple and yet so very stunning.
The church in these images is the San Francisco de Asis Church, Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico. It is no surprise that this structure was the inspiration for four paintings by Georgia O'Keefe and several photographs by Ansel Adams.

Eskimo Hut Bride
After our photoshoot on 6th Street (a very warm photoshoot!), the girls in the van decided that we should seek an icy cold beverage. Ahhh, yummy Eskimo Hut!

Our Fabulous Photographer!
Bryan and I were lucky enough to work with a fabulous photographer, Amanda Anderson, for our wedding. If you are in West Texas and want some fun and capture amazing moments - Amanda is your gal. Amanda owns Red Frame Photography based out of Lubbock, Texas. (We connected with Amanda through our friend Kelly and are so glad that we did. Thanks, Kel!) Honestly, I can't wait for the next opportunity to work with Amanda...hmm, what could that be?
Some of the photos from our wedding have made their way to Amanda's blog and a few others are even on her website. Check it out!
And if you contact Amanda, let her know that Bryan and Sue recommended you. ;-)
