Come on, vote for Bryan and I! We could win a fun little prize package. Besides, it's a snow day - I had to find a way to entertain us!
It's snowing!
It's true! It's snowing in Amarillo. Weather folks started predicting this storm early this week. This morning we received almost a 1/2 inch of ice followed by sleet and eventually snow. The interstate is closed and travel is strongly discouraged. All of the schools in the are closed, including the university. Our office is even closed for the day!
I took this picture out our front window, I had intended to go outside, but our front door has a snow drift covering it - making it impossible to open (until i head out to shovel).
We are expecting a bit of snow this afternoon (8-16 inches!)...so it's time to bundle up for a cold winter's day.
